Hassle-free Saturdays are at the
Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Louisiana
500 Evergreen Street unit
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Louisiana are now open on Saturdays.
The Club, located at 500 Evergreen St., will then be open from 9:30-1:30.
Program Director Robert Reed said the Saturday activities will include arts & crafts, movie of the week, computer programs and organized play in the gym.
“Our recent grant from CapitalOne Bank has allowed us to open up this extra day each week at our Evergreen Street unit and we want to give the members an opportunity to get out of the house and come have some fun at the Club,” Reed said.
There will be a snack available and the concession stand will also be open, Reed said.
The Club is open to youth aged 5-18 and registration is required of new members. The annual membership fee is $10 and the form can be filled out by parents from 9 am to 7 pm each weekday at the Evergreen Street site.

Since 1962, the vision of Boys & Girls Clubs has grown and changed with the needs of our children. As the needs of our children and their families continue to change, so will the dynamics of our programs and services.
Every day, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Louisiana strive to improve each child's life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of the educational programs.
